"Card Gallery"

ⓘ In my Typography 1 class, we were tasked with finding typograhy in the world around us and compiling these letterforms into a curated set of cards.

My process was to use a cutting mat as the “card” and to mess around with form by ripping up my letters and taping them back together with red tape.

I loved how the red tape and rearrangement of the letters seemed to accentuate and push the boundaires of the letterforms; the rips in the paper and cutting mat format adding the crafty feel of iterative process work to my project.
